Made in Nature is a collection of natural (treasures) packaged into learning opportunities. For a child to love and appreciate the natural world they must know it. To know it they must experience it. We as adults make choices about what is suitable for childs play. What surrounds the childs immediate environment. 

Made in Nature provides early childhood providers with options where their immediate environment cannot provide the treasures, or their location limits the presence of abundant nature.

Philosophy of gathering
We collect by hand - . All our resources are locally sourced by our family and friends. All timbers are sustainably harvested from the native forest on our farm or collected from fallen trees. We attempt to use untreated processed timber.
Our respect for the taonga(treasures) is shown through our protocols of always ask first and give thanks for what is given.

Safety Disclosure
We recommend that adults supervise the safe use and play with all our products. Some products are small and may be a choking hazard. It is advised that products are not suitable for children under the age of 3 years unless fully supervised. Please use caution.
